Coffee House Press (Independent book publisher and arts nonprofit based in Minneapolis, MN)
Red Hen Press (An American non-profit press located in Pasadena, California)
Peepal Tree Press (Publisher based in Leeds, England which publishes Caribbean, Black British, and South Asian literature)
Helping Poets Get Paid
Part of our mission as an organization is to help pay poets and publishing houses, so we share a portion of all our revenue with the contemporary poets we work with.
Here's how it works:
We carve out 15% of subscription revenue every period to share with participating poets and publishing houses.
We allocate this revenue to our partners based on viewership of their poems on the app.
To make sure poets get paid, we pay a $100/poet advance when adding new selections to our library.
(These numbers may change in the future, but as of April 2021 they are the standard contract we've offered to all partners.)
